I’m sure you’re right. They called the storm that took the Andrea Gale “The Perfect Storm” but I’m not sure the Fitzgerald wasn’t in a prelude to that one. Just farther west. When you can’t see the shore it’s a crap shoot with Mother Nature. Sometimes even if you can see a shore.

The Lake Superior Marine Museum & Maritime Visitor Center in Duluth is worth visiting if you’re up that way. The Edmund Fitzgerald isn’t just a song up there.
