What would happen if I put the html for break? So no spaces between the images, which sometimes works better, like in pages of a letter or a long Q drop that someone broke into more than one image.

For contiguous verticality (yes, I made that up), I put the letters br in between a pair of those < > without spaces. That is a line break. I use that if I want to avoid a gap between the images and want them vertically.
