One of the most iconic movies of all time. I forgive the time tech inaccuracy.

Why can’t we do this today? Hollywood has lost their talent and can only remake old block busters.

The movie came out in 1982, but the book it was based on came out in 1968...the book was set in San Francisco.

Hollywood can only remake blockbusters but often they are not as good as the original(s). For example the terminator series got re imagined when they were better off continuing to tell the story of what happened in the future. This new terminator movie coming out this weekend only confuses the timeline even more.
That said, I did like the new Blade runner sequel with Harrison Ford.
