Judge rules prosecutors can’t show ‘Godfather’ clip at Roger Stone’s trial
The accused used a reference to a character in the movie in his texts. The prosecutors wanted to explain what that meant by showing the clip of the movie with the character - who recanted his testimony in the movie.
I understand why the prosecutors thought they might need to explain it via the clip - it’s a 30-40 year old movie that not everyone on the jury may have seen.
