Things are more fluid than they seem. That’s my impression of Washington right now. There’s something quiet going on, a mood shift.
Impeachment of course will happen. The House will support whatever charges are ultimately introduced because most Democrats think the president is not fully sane and at least somewhat criminal. Also they’re Democrats and he’s a Republican. The charges will involve some level of foreign-policy malfeasance.
The ultimate outcome depends on the Senate. It takes 67 votes to convict. Republicans control the Senate 53-47, and it is unlikely 20 of them will agree to remove a president of their own party. An acquittal is likely but not fated, because we live in the age of the unexpected

I believe Rommney 100% when he said there are 35 Republicans in the Senate who would vote for impeachment. They support Trump out in the open but despise him behind his back

I believe that it is probable that this Impeachment/Witch Hunt/Kangaroo Court BS is going to fizzle and won’t even get to the Senate. The Rats do not want Discovery.
The rats never intended to impeach. If that’s what they intended to do, we’d be having an impeachment. There will be no impeachment vote before the 2020 elections.
Hell yes they are enraged! He[President Trump] just hit them in the pocketbook and hit them hard. He has wreaked havoc on the kickbacks they have been getting from the defense contractors. And as far as the Senate goes, I have always said that when it comes time to vote, they will be no problem in getting enough Republicans to vote to remove him from Office.
That brings up what next? The politicians hate the people who voted to elect President in the first place over their cohort Hillary more than they hate President Trump. They are frothing at the mouth to punish them so expect no mercy from them.

I have known a number of Mormons. They were all decent people. In my opinion, Mitt Romney gives Mormons a bad name.
If it was a secret ballot Trump would be toast bank it. Pence is barely acceptable to these Bushies. That said, removing a President from your own party less than a year from the election? It just seems so unlikely.
