10:34 at least a 5.low
I watched the main corridor of my building twist and wave. It was way kewl. Got my people out of fab. No damage, we didn’t even spill a drop of chemicals.
When I went through the Northridge quake in '94 (6.7, and I was ~22 miles away in Pasadena), it felt like a freight train was running right outside my bedroom window.
This one (4.7, and I'm ~40 miles away) felt like a heavy truck went over a series of bumps nearby.
It beats driving through a white-out.
yeah but you can STAY HOME during a white out and problem solved!!!
4.5 ? Just shakes the dust off in CA.
While I’m aware that God designed tectonic plate movements, with their attendant earthquakes, to make high-technology civilization possible on earth, as a Californian myself I sometimes feel the victim.
Did you feel the one in Hollister about an bour ago?
LOL, No, sorry! Was in a dentist’s chair under the influence of anesthetic.
in the lower east bay it seemed like a quick series of transverse (east-west) rolling jerks within about 4 seconds. some shelf rattling but no permanent damage.
