On May 1, 2019 Lindsey Graham, the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, promised investigations on how the Mueller probe started.
He made the the comments during testimony by US Attorney General Bill Barr in front of the US Senate.
Like most of the GOP all talk....and do nothing..
have to admit at least the democrats fight for what they want..

Well, Graham said he was not going to pursue Biden in his Committee because he “likes him a lot”. What kind of reason is that not to investigate him??
Exactly. Deep state controls both dems and repubs. Graham is all for deep state and against Trump. He must not appear to dislike Trump too much, for re election in SC. Deep state controls both parties at the local level so they can promote their obedient candidates.
Even if hearings were held, what actually would happen? Based on history there would be partisan theatrics, professional level gum flapping and then nothing happens to the bad guys.
Barr and Durham are investigating that line right now. Personally, I’m tired of congress “investigating”, when nothing can, or does ever come of it, but get us all riled up, anticipating action, yet producing NOTHING. If they don’t have the power to do anything with the information they dig up, it’s all just frustrating show-boating. Look at Gowdy’s hearings; which information astonished and infuriated us all, otherwise, accomplished NOTHING.
What was strange was when Rudy called him ex-Senator Graham on Maria’s show. She looked stunned He didn’t correct himself and she didn’t correct him.
Looks like “do nothing shuffle” to me too.
Graham was a JAG officer. He knows how to focus. Right now I would bet there is a gang of Republicans deciding what is the best political timing for the pounce. Adam Schifty is going to hang the demon rats on their own gallows they think they construct for DJT. Read Esther to see the parallels.
“She” has only one important job, IMHO: Keep those judicial nominees flowing into the courts...
My personal hope is that Barr/Durham are making sure of their case before launching. The Dems (via IC plants) figures out they couldn’t just sit and wait so they manufactured this current outrage to discredit and distract. I will turn out to be wrong but I am going with that for now
absent actual information such as IG reports and recommendations, congressional hearings into possible criminal matters are a complete waste of time. All one has to do is look at the pointlessness of what the Pubs did during the first two years of Trump’s Presidency and what the Dems are doing during the last two years ...
Congress was not constituted as an investigative body to investigate general crimes and therefore has very limited tools for that purpose compared to law enforcement agencies ... much better for judiciary to focus on continuing to ram through Trump’s judicial appointments ...

Perhaps going ahead now would interfere in what Barr is currently doing...everything has its proper time.
It rather depends. Is Durham really conducting an investigation? If so, then it’s better that Graham not do so until needed.
