On May 1, 2019 Lindsey Graham, the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, promised investigations on how the Mueller probe started.
He made the the comments during testimony by US Attorney General Bill Barr in front of the US Senate.
Like most of the GOP all talk....and do nothing..
have to admit at least the democrats fight for what they want..

Conducting Senate hearings during an ongoing investigation is not only pointless, it's completely counter-productive and is likely to jeopardize any potential prosecution down the road.
The Deep State is a non-partisan entity. Players who wear both red and blue masks as an aid in achieving public office in specific areas have reasons to keep the Big Corruption secret...and to violently attack anyone who threatens to reveal it.
Since the Revealer-In-Chief wears a red mask, other red-mask players have to moderate their speech about him in public, to an extent, to avoid excessively upsetting their political constituencies. But they want him gone just as desperately as their blue-masked compatriots do and will not willingly engage in any activity that might aid him.
I think this writer needs to hold his fire for a while.

All congressional hearings are is a bunch of people shouting at each other and banging their fists on the table for pure unadulterated theater.
At 5pm they are all at the same dinner parties provided by lobbyists, snorting coke and having a grand time.

I think (at least I hope) that Trump and Republicans are waiting until after the 2020 election to drop the hammer on criminal charges. Trump would be free from trying to run for re-election and Republicans can preside over a devastating enforcement of crimes against the state.
Those slow turning gears of justice are rusted over. The days of law and order are finished.

Here is what is going to happen
In a few months a real initial investigation of FBI, DOJ and CIA is going to be complete. We have been told this by many.
When these reports hit, quite a few people in key leadership positions are going to be gone. Retired or fired.
Most will retire to keep their pensions, their reputations but also to avoid prosecution. Some won’t be given that option
Once Trump has installed new and non corrupt key players things will clean up quickly and the culture of corruption and reign of tyranny from the Mueller/Comey/Wray and Holder/Lynch and Obama/Brennan/Clapper eras will be diminished enough such that the good guys can come forward as very real whistle blowers ( there is a very good reason the Democrats are currently happy to do things discrediting whistleblowers with their fake claims - they are planning for the future on this one. They are going to need to do a lot of discrediting in the near future) and properly purge the scum bags. The left over good guys in these orgs know exactly who most of the scum bags and have been dreaming of of a day when they can be dealt with
Some of the new people may well be the old, good people who were purged by the likes of Obama, Mueller and Comey over the last 15 years
If you remember, Ol’ once rambling Rudy, now Ram Rod Rudy and soon to be Reaming Rudy blew the world apart when he started revealing the depth of his investigations exposing massive, bi partisan Obama era corruption.
As Rudy’s IQ has amazingly increased about 100 points over the last few weeks and he has started demonstrating the focus and command of the Rudy that took down mob bosses, official corruption and cleaned up the entire culture of corruption that permeated NYC the Dems knew they had been had.
They panicked when they finally realized what the guy they had been laughing at and discounting has been up to.
As the Old Rudy has reasserted itself so has the old, take no prisoners Donald Trump resurfaced. Hit him with a brick, he hits you with a Buick . And Dems have thrown a lot of bricks
Then Rudy said the magic word - RICO. And the world blew up
Pelosi panicked, as did all the rest of the secure, above the law untouchables, as did all those sleeping peacefully with sweetheart Plea Agreements and those thinking they were moored in the safe harbors defined by Statutes of Limitations
If you remember, Rudy was offered AG at DOJ but he passed because he really wanted Sec of State because he wanted the biggest, most important and most consequential job available to round out his career
In the end he got neither but it looks like one of the biggest, if not the single biggest, most important and consequential job in American history may just have found him and he is uniquely and exactly the right man for the job. That job is, of course, being point man on draining the swamp that is Washington DC. One thing for sure, Rudy is not afraid of taking on the the Alligators and the Alligators are becoming scared out of their minds of him

Graham, just like Trey Gowdy, is all about theatrics. There will be no significant action from the senate on these issues. Most especially, just like Gowdy, all they care about is votes.
