rally it should have been self-evident it was a farce; sorry to have misled you, but it seem satire and jokes are not so much recognised these days.

Never underestimate the limits of human ignorance.

Thats Forbidden Planet, the machine created by the Krell to release them from physical form. Unfortunately they all went postal and killed them selves.

Never underestimate the limits of human ignorance.
Human ignorance is of two kinds: willful and untutored. Science threads seem to be mostly the latter with lots of silly stuff. What seems to be mostly missing is imagination. Too many people go with the ‘settled science’ angle or the ‘don’t rock the boat’ perspectives. Of course, science is never settled, and never progresses until someone rocks the boat. Thus comes imagination ...
I usually skip the silly Uranus and other pun jokes, looking for the ‘good’ stuff’. Else, when a post presents an opportunity, amid the silly clutter, I’ll throw something in for s...s and giggles. Too much serious stuff is not good for the soul.

Drilling for water 2.5 miles down on Mars wouldnt be as difficult as on Earth................... I hear ya, but so far, all of the probes sent to Mars have had trouble penetrating even the first few inches of the martian crust.
To: amorphous
We send probes that are not much more than overgrown toys.
Send a Texas oil crew and their equipment and it’s a whole different story!............

... the Martian crust is far more powerfully magnetic than scientists expected.Oh?
The 'RED' planet in dictates to me that a LOT of iron is present in the soil; so therefore...

And then of course, using E=MC2, matter was created using that energy?Sure!
Just rearrange the equation...
M=E/C2

My first thought was some kind of feedback loop.
To: Elsie
Oh my gosh. What a difference it makes depending on the punctuation. I meant to write “...matter was created using that energy!”
