Yes - in fact, they did Quadrophenia at MSG a handful of times in 1996.

They ultimately toured America with Quadrophenia in 1996 but without Billy Idol, etc. However, the 2012 Quadrophenia shows were epic. The Rock was something else live.

Oh yeah, 1996 makes more sense for the show I was at. Billy Idol and Gary Glitter (later imprisoned for pedophilia) came out and sang The Punk and the Godfather (respectively). After playing The Who played the whole double-album, they took a break and then came back and played various hits acoustically for the next hour and a half.

The show blew me away.
