ESPN also has reported that Brown, who hired Taylor as a trainer after they attended Central Michigan at the same time, turned down a $2 million settlement before the suit was filed.

Confidential discussions between the two parties were held, and it was determined the Patriots would not have known about the allegations unless terms of the confidentiality had been breached.

The woman’s claims are preposterous. She kept coming back to him after the alleged incident, tried to get him to give her $1.6 million for a worthless venture. This is a golddigger on steroids who gives legitimate accusers a bad name.

Problem is false accusations are going to grow even faster than they have the past few years since colleges are deciding that regretting sex after being drunk can be grounds to cry rape.

I think they're both nut-jobs and deserve each other.
As a Pat fan I just have to compartmentalize things - Red Sox and Bruins have had some despicable people on their teams, too.
Sports isn't a beauty contest - just win, baby.

If she was raped she had a duty to report that to law enforcement.

By failing to do so she opted to leave her rapist out on the street to rape other women.

Instead she put it in her back pocket to trade for a big check at some future date.
