Sen. Ted Cruz, the runner-up to Donald Trump in the bruising 2016 Republican presidential primary, revealed Thursday that he wants to someday mount another White House campaign.
Look, I hope to run again, the Texas lawmaker told The Christian Science Monitor. We came very, very close in 2016. And its the most fun Ive ever had in my life."

I thought the baldness gene came from the mom’s side.
Dwight Eisenhower was bald.
But, then again, cRuz is no 5 star Gen Dwight Eisenhower.

Jordan would be excellent, but there is not a single Democrat I would vote for over Cruz.

I cannot imagine how he would get around the Constitutional Ineligibility issue, just like the first time. That never went away.
I sat put him on the Supreme Court to replace Ruth Buzzy Ginsberg.

To all the people hating on Ted Cruz, I don’t see you offering up viable conservatives. Maybe you should kick the tires on Mitt Romney again? Mike Pence is as exciting as soggy white bread.

Little Marco and Lyin' Ted....dealing behind Trump's back...
Again, no thanks. cRuz can't be trusTed.

“Get him on the Supreme Court”
Been saying that since he came on the political scene. Has a legal mind like Levin.

So did I. He would go down in flames in a general election.

Pence has earned the pole position for 2024 if he wants it.Horse apples. That kind of thinking is what got us Bob "Tax Collector for the Welfare State" Dole as the nominee. There is only ONE way to earn the nomination: get a majority of convention votes.
Which is not to say I wouldn't give Pence due consideration if he runs.
(I'd like to see Ted get the nomination if only to see the haters' heads explode when Trump endorsed him.)

I’d prefer either of Trump’s of age MALE offspring for 2024-Don Jr. being the most fiery one

I was unhappy with that, too.
But Trump ridiculously claimed Cruz’s dad shot JFK. That was just stupid slander. Any reasonable man would be pissed. What he should have done is decline to speak.
I voted for Cruz (and then Trump), but am quite happy with Trump.

Precisely who they meant to exclude were citizens that moved here and became naturalized citizens. Parents have nothing to do with it.Born Rafael Edward Cruz

One is only naturally a citizen when they cannot be anything else.
Anyone born with more than one nationality is not naturally a citizen.

I don't think his wife and kids were having much fun. Maybe he can get Glenn Beck to swear him in on a compass again. 😆

Cruz is certainly eligible.Ted Cruz was born in Canada and his birth was not even registered in the USA until he was a teenager. He is not eligible without any question.

I said "The Pole Position", bit the nomination. It means that up against a candidate with similar stands on the issues, that his service to and experience with the president is the tie breaker.
Mike Pence is no Bob Dole. Trump himself is one of a kind. There won't be another in 100 years.
