MSNBC host Joe Scarborough was fed up Friday morning over the Democratic presidential candidates spending too much time at Thursday nights debate quibbling over minor health care policy differences.
The Morning Joe host said he was astounded to see the candidates, for a large portion of the first hour, pounding each other on technocratic niceties related to their health care plans, while ignoring the big picture. [ ]
Scarborough concluded by saying that pitching Medicare-for-All to the American people is a waste of time because it will never pass in Congress after the election.
Barack Obama basically had to use every ounce of his mandate to get 50 votes to pass the Affordable Care Act, he said. Theyre just shooting themselves in the foot, turning off a lot of Americans and having them switch their TV sets especially on the West Coast back to Wheel of Fortune. This is a waste of time for Democrats.

He is soooooo worried they’re going to lose (they are).
He is sooooo sure they will listen to him and change who they are (they can’t).
Joe is sooooo SOL (I’m glad).
Whether it can pass or not is not the question (we know it won’t).
The only unknown is who gets more votes for touting it.

Joe, the “’big picture” is that the party which you’re in love with is full of panderers and pickpockets.
Didn’t realize he was such a racist...
Once they manage to collapse the current system Medicare For All absolutely WILL pass.
Just like the bank bailouts passed back in ‘09.
Republicans WILL do a 180 and vote for such things if they feel the doomsday clock is about to strike twelve.
Never let a Chicken Little moment go to waste.
We can look forward to another nine months of this
more popcorn please!
No seriously what a difference between this and when there was 15 Republican candidates in 2015 and 16 writing for the nomination and the seriousness of the debates in the proposals and the character of the man who were applying
I talked to a doctor who is a professor at a med school. He said if medicate for all passed, it would cause half the hospitals in the USA to fail and close. Medicare pays doctors 50 cents on the dollar, or less.
More winning!
(Did Joe also attack our President this morning?)
