Let me just put this out here, knowing no one will read it or pay heed...

There are other ways to punish James Comey than jail. Today is a start, there will be more that discredit his reputation and disclose his true, dark and corrupt character.

Consider what a failed prosecution would mean. Suppose charges were brought against him for lying and leaking and not following rules. Assume he received legal representation from the best in the business and the venue was the District of Columbia where lying and leaking are among the top sources of income, one way or another. Suppose he was acquitted - can you imagine how he would preen in front of the cameras, proclaiming his “exoneration”? He’d have his own program on CNN!

A failed prosecution would be worse than not bringing charges in the first place because of how it would allow him to inflate his ego and justify his bad behavior.

Insted let’s continue to take the wind out of his sails, one day at a time. Don’t worry about what could have been, instead focuse on what is yet to come. The Storm is only beginning.

If you or I had done 1/10 of what JC has done we’d be looking out at life from within a Federal Supermax until we were 6 ft under.

JC and his cohorts in crime have damaged the USA and the American brand. They may have even collaborated internationally to do so-effectively raising questions regarding “acts of war”

We the People really haven’t any alternative at this point other than to power this thing through to the ends demanded if we’re to continue to pretend to have a country.

Well said.

I was thinking about this today and if (still a big IF) what Patrick Byrne, former Overstock CEO, is saying turns out to be completely true that will be the bigger crime to prosecute. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I do believe this is what is being done. Many are just hearing about this now, but we’ve been hearing about it for almost 2 years.

Public opinion must gently and carefully make a sharp turn to accept just how much WRONG these people have done. Some on the left have to be willing to stop defending them - the storm can’t include only conservatives.

There’s never been a public education effort on this scale and one that must reverse the distorted perception of reality for so many - and do so in the middle of an information war. Many people in countries across the world are all facing the same awakening as the one taking place in America. It’s difficult, but there are no substitutions for freedom. Dark to light. GOD WINS.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Well, "No One" is the name Odysseus gave as his identity when asked by Polyphemus the cyclops, right before he got him drunk and blinded him. So I reply in good company.

I agree with your analysis about the possibility of a failed prosecution; but, I take it a step further.

This leaking of his own hurt feelings and narcissistic opinions is a pissant crime by Comey and unworthy of risking the big picture, which is PROSECUTION OF THE ENTIRE CONSPIRACY.

It would be a BIG MISTAKE to prosecute these individual conspirators as if each case were an island. As you stated, leftist juries could be convinced that the individual actions lacked "Intent."

So a little deception, allowing Comey and others to briefly think POTUS and Barr are letting them skate--UNTIL WE CAN ROUND UP THE WHOLE CONSPIRACY--is exactly the right decision.

As you probably know, when the other Cyclopes came to find the blinded Polyphemus, and asked who had done this thing to him, he replied: "NO ONE" (leaving them to assume there was no one against whom they could seek revenge).

Stretching my analogy ... Another reason to play this extremely carefully is that the RATS will use the slightest misplay as an excuse to prosecute perfectly innocent people should they ever come back into power.

We could use wily Odysseus on our side in this war.

REad it and approved it! Let’s just keep chipping away at him. For instance, I think being the head of the FBI and THEN GETTING FORED FOR LYING is a pretty big deal.

I hope no one ever offers him the position as treasurer at the country club’s pancake breakfast.

I read it and I agree with you. Comey is dirty but IMHO prosecuting him for violating FBI rules and procedures and setting a terrible example for the FBI is the wrong way to go. There will be MUCH stronger and better cases to be brought against James Comey...The FISA warrants point to perjury, obstruction of justice and perpetrating a fraud on the court, among other things.

I don't know why everyone is so upset about this today...we've known for two weeks that Horowitz was finished with his report and that Barr had decided against pursuing charges against Comey for anything in the report. The only thing that's changed is that now we can read the report...and it in NO WAY lets Comey off the hook.

This is just the opening act of a new movie.

Great post and Trump knows this no telling how many of the left wing players have been compromised and are currently spilling their guts so really good prosecutions can be made.
