Not sure what everyone else is seeing today (on the 17th) but I’ve not seen this many cops out and about in my small suburb ever. Went by one car that was pulled over by 3 cop cars (1 officer had on a vest, they let car go); then 2 groceries had police walking about. Saw the auxilliary traffic police active and out walking when they usually do only traffic when needed.

At first I thought an APB or active search but no news of that kind locally.

Something is up.

I am not seeing any enhanced security in my patch of Texas. Most likely a local issue for your area.
