If a person is pronounced dead, seems to me they wheel the body out with the face covered.

See my revision here. It seems he was still somewhat alive when wheeled out. Transported with cardiac arrest. Pronounced at the hospital later.

But what explains the fact that there was a photographer staged inside the perimeter of the jail, at 7:30 in the morning or thereabouts, to take pictures. Pictures that incidentally show his face (as proof?). That’s odd.

I haven't seen any pics of him being 'wheeled out in public'. The two pics posted on this thread appear to be taken INSIDE the Correctional facility's medical unit. Note the backboards on the wall and the what appears to be Armed Correctional staff standing by.

Paramedics are working on him and no declaration of death (I assume).

Still strange that somebody took pics and they were released so quickly. Definitely against policy and makes me think somebody wanted us to see them.

Only Prison staff (correctional and medical) or outside medical staff should be in that room.

p.s. Correctional staff don't carry firearms within the facility, so the fact that guy is armed with one, indicates to me that he is the transporting officer. To take Epstein to the hospital.

If they were vventalating him with the BVM and doing compressions he wouldn’t be covered. If they weren’t doing compressions he had a pulse and just needed assistance breathing.

Maybe the face was uncovered to calm the deep state? assure them that he’s dead..misinformation.
