Regarding hops in you dig, part six.

The ‘umbrella surveillance’ described can be good for up to four hops.

This is what made the FISA surveillance on POTUS so insidious.

By having just one person under surveillance in the Trump campaign, if that person contacted Trump directly, that’s one hop.

That exposes everyone Trump contacted to surveillance (including DJT) - second hop.

Third hop is everyone contacted by Trump and everyone they contacted.

On the fourth hop and you can imagine how large the operation could become. Naturally, they don’t surveill all these people, but they pick and choose targets within that four-hop network.

At least that’s my understanding of it.
