Boudin (also spelled boudain)and Poutine are as different as, well, Boudain and Poutine...................But he was referring to her recipe with potatoes and cheese (poutine) which they showed on the episode; and not referring to sausage (boudin). Just sayin', that's how he pronounced it. Part of the pleasure of being southern is not having to be extremely precise with pronunciation.
