Boudin (also spelled boudain)and Poutine are as different as, well, Boudain and Poutine...................

But he was referring to her recipe with potatoes and cheese (poutine) which they showed on the episode; and not referring to sausage (boudin). Just sayin', that's how he pronounced it. Part of the pleasure of being southern is not having to be extremely precise with pronunciation.
