Yup. Insulin resistance is killing everybody. Tweaking a vitamin here or there ain’t gonna do it. Losing the excess 57 pounds of body fat, well now that will.

You are correct. Hard way to eat though. I did it for a year and a half and all my blood work became phenomenal. My doctor was blown away. When I told him how I was eating he didn't want to hear it. "Whatever" he said.

We stay away from corn, soybean, and other vegetable oils that have moderate to high Omega-6 fats. We do have olive, coconut, and palm oils, as well as butter and ghee.
Keeping our carbs lower is also something we do. We do eat peaches, blueberries, and watermelon, as examples of lower glycemic carbs we do eat.

Omega-3 as well. Watch your Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratios, I take an Omega-3 supplement every day. If there is too much Omega-6, that is inflammatory.
