Chupacabras can be literally translated as “goat-sucker”, from chupar (”to suck”) and cabra (”goat”). The 1st reported attack of these creatures occurred in Mar 1995 in Puerto Rico. Hunting blood suckers in 2001.
Goat suckers know who they are.

I had a manager I worked for that was dealing with a new product launch in Monterrey, Mexico. One of the Mexican engineers called him a Chupacabra in a meeting because he was driving him so hard. At the time he didn’t know what it meant, but he figured it out and took it as his own badge of honor.
He did drive them hard, but not anymore then the rest of us were working and it was one of the first projects in that facility to deliver on time and under budget.
Never forget when he called them on it - “You called me a “goat blood sucker”! They were all scared for a second till he started laughing.
