On the PONTIFEX tweet, posted by Q in #3563, there was a link to a story about Mother Teresa not being quite up to the mark in saintly motivations.
I had read something about her to that effect a few days earlier. I just found it: Melian had reported this story for the Prominent Deaths file:

A CHARITY WORKER AND FORMER ASSISTANT TO MOTHER TERESA HAS died after a brutal bar brawl in the United Kingdom.
Mark Bloomfield, 54, died in a hospital over the weekend from his injuries. The fight occurred outside a bar in Wales three days earlier, according to South Wales police.
It’s unclear what triggered the vicious beat down, but police have so far arrested a 61-year-old man and charged him with causing “grievous bodily harm.”

He supported the invasion of Iraq by Bush on the grounds that Leftists are supposed to support legitimate national liberation movements, and if getting rid of Saddam wasn't that, then nothing was. He was fired by The Nation magazine, where he'd had a monthly column for years over this position.
So, despite having a lot of political positions I disagree with I think he was a man of some integrity. (Those have all but disappeared from the Left now.)
He's a worthwhile writer but I never read the book on Mother Theresa. But, if you want info on her, I'm sure it's the Mother Load. (ahh, couldn't help it)
Why on Earth have the knives been out for Mother Theresa, at least since the beginning, and become now increasingly vicious.
She has corrected all the wrong people.
After it was she who scolded against Abortion in her visit to the USA, in a speech and straight to the face of President Clinton and Hillary, who sat front and center, before her.
Now that Mother is dead and can not defend herself, her saintly work is disregarded and both her legacy and character are slandered, in publications and by those who have never been friends of the Catholic Church, which also happens to be at war with itself.
So there are many motives at play, here, and many enemies prowling and sniffing around, for reasons other than altruism and righteousness, but eager to take out not only saints of the living and dead, but the Church itself, as we used to know it.
