One of *those* topics. Dating's probably off.

And they used a picture of me with my shirt off for birth control :)

These are some of the newer topics from Archaeologica that haven't yet been posted (that I know of):

In ancient Egypt, the contraceptive of choice was crocodile dung. Dried dung was inserted into the vagina, the idea being that it would soften as it reached body temperature to form an impenetrable barrier.

... to form an impenetrable barrier.
In more ways than one.

I recommend that to all liberal women as an organic birth control.

You post great articles AND you’re not all there!!
Two things I love about your threads :)
As is customary, I always start off with (most of the time) a bad joke :).
But I LOVE your threads.
I spent HOURS and HOURS watching a show on yuutbue that step by step took apart the idea that aliens landed here.
The BEST part was finding out about DOZENS of structures I NEVER knew existed
And that in some cases, stones to build things weighed 800 TONS. That’s more than me!!
That’s 1.6 million pounds. Seems near impossible to move.
But i know nothing of that field so I guess humans were able to move them

I read this the other day. I like going to Grahamhancock.com and on one side of the site are all the news feeds pertaining to the history of mankind and such stuff.

Crocodiles are making a big comeback in the warm effluent waters around the Turkey Point Nuclear Power Plant, near Homestead, Florida. Could be a cottage industry in organic birth control.

That’s about the most gross thing I’ve heard in a while :)
Birth control contraptions go back a long way, I guess.

Why were “fertility cures” always aimed at the women? Didn’t they suspect that the man could be at fault?
