Because of technical limitations I have don’t use links. Because of that the island where this grave site is not identified. But this person might be from the Kashube slavic group one of the of three that compose today’s Poland who settled along the Baltic coast and the Pomeranian peninsula.

How do they know she didn’t identify as a man? Maybe she was woman in biology only.

Didn’t the Vikings have a custom of burying or sacrificing (funeral pyre) the warriors’ wife once he was dead?
Maybe that’s what happened here. Notice, they saw no apparent injuries that would have caused her death.
