i have an experience with the reincarnation phenomenon. I knew someone long ago who believed said person was reincarnated. Said person was being studied and the study was shut down because said person knew things said person wouldn’t and couldn’t have known from one of the wars and whoever shut it down didn’t want info disclosed.
Was it real. I think so. But then again...maybe there is some other explanation.
If I was a child of Diana I would have someone discreetly call this family and ask something there is no way the child could know.
There are a lot of inexplicable stories; but I don’t buy the idea that they ‘must’ be evidence of actual reincarnation as it’s commonly understood. There are other possible explanations.
If, at the source, everything is ‘One’, people could simply have a connection to or ‘memories’ of something in the past for which they somehow have an affinity. It doesn’t necessarily mean that they actually individualized as that life. Maybe it just indicates that we are all “living all lives”, on some level; that God is living all these lives.
Good idea! I grew up near a man who claimed to be the reincarnated Napolean Bonaparte. My parents, as well as others in the town, were very intrigued by him because he could tell details of battles- including soldiers names- Napoleon participated in. No one ever admitted they doubted him because some of the details he gave about Napoleon’s life could have only come from someone close to him. Some of the more interesting ones were from Napoleon’s time in exile.
Rational post on a weird thread.
In the ‘80s, my close friend walked in her room and found her three-year-old son applying her makeup on himself. He was doing it perfectly. Since he had never seen her do I so she was sort-of freaking out.
She calmly asked him how he knew how to do that, and he said, “This is how I did it when I was a lady.”
He passed away a year later with a brain tumor.
