Well, the producers of the 007 films have jumped the shark as far as I am concerned and my thinks the box office will crash when 'she' hits the screen--

Using 007 is nothing more than a poke in the eye to all the James Bond fans. Ian Fleming must be spinning in his grave.
If it tanks, I doubt any of the usual suspects will be reporting it.
007 is dead.
Instead of an Aston-Martin she will drive a Subaru station wagon.
The film BOMBED at the Box Office:
Budget: $30 Million (estimated)
Gross USA: $3 Million
Subaru Foresters and lesbians are like trailer parks and tornadoes.
That pretty much sums up my take. I considered Moore to be a “tongue in cheek” james bond.
In fact, I stopped taking them seriously until Daniel Craig versions came out. He brought a seriousness back to the character, and you actually felt we were watching something real - that could get him killed. i.e. I liked the stories better. Interestingly, they are the only Bond movies my wife likes.
I think Craig was second only to Connery. I thinkl he did a great job of taking Bond back to the action hero/ spy. And rescuing it from camp all gadgets all the time of the Moore era on forward.
but it just goes to show.
After every Connery there is a Moore waiting..
Flop....
Propaganda aside, the thought that a black woman could replace James Bond is ludricous.
She is not equal, never will be. She’s Black. She’s a woman
Cultural Analysis
Not because the new 007 is black, or because the new 007 is a woman, but because it is a propaganda film.
Im sure others see it the same way.

Yes.
Hollywood: “We’re gonna rub our leftist agenda in your FACE *and* if you don’t accept it you’re a racist / sexist / homophobe! AND you’re going to pay to see it! And if you don’t like it, we like that even more because we HATE normals like you!”
Normals: “Go to hell, you’re not getting one CENT of my money for your crap... EVER.”
Why cant they just create new characters and stories?
I love Burn Notice!
As for the Sophie Turner School of Movie Making (consumers will pay for Hollyweird’s crap sandwiches, eat them, AND LIKE THEM), good luck with that business model, Hollyweird.
Too horsey looking. Won’t fly.
I was thinking about this regarding James Bond. I lost track of the Avengers, Fantastic four, etc. movies. I don’t really know which ones I’ve seen or not seen because of their naming conventions. The same thing started happening with star trek and, a little, with star wars. But it never happened with James bond movies.
I think the reason is that they are not “sequels”.They each have a unique name.
Bottom line: If the Bond franchise was doing well the producers wouldn’t have resorted to stunt casting.
I tend to agree.
I have to admit, though, that if the storyline as explained earlier in this thread is accurate, this may be a great movie.
That is, if it’s about giving this woman his number only temporarily and he has to come out of retirement, and gets it back, this is not at all what some here think it is.
OTOH, this may be a transition to the NEXT movie that replaces him with a black woman permanently.
I am tired of hack writers who seem incapable of creating either a new character or a new fictional universe, so they try to screw around with a well established franchise or character. If you want a female superspy, then create one as a totally new character.
“Bond comes back out of retirement and, in the end, regains his License to Kill numbers (maybe she dies).”
Where did you read that?
In other words, the James Bond Franchise is over.
