My great-grandfather was born in 1868, the year Custer raided the tribes on the Washita. He was 8 when Custer was killed. He died in 1955.

Think of all he saw in his lifetime in which the US Government tried to move a stone age people into the Atomic age in one lifetime.

Thought about the same thing with my Great-Grandfather, though he was born in 1873. He died in 1955 also.
