Organizers of an annual conference that brings together people who believe that the Earth is flat are planning a cruise to the purported edge of the planet. They're looking for the ice wall that holds back the oceans.
The journey will take place in 2020, the Flat Earth International Conference (FEIC) recently announced on its website. The goal? To test so-called flat-Earthers' assertion that Earth is a flattened disk surrounded at its edge by a towering wall of ice.
Believers in a flat Earth argue that images showing a curved horizon are fake and that photos of a round Earth from space are part of a vast conspiracy perpetrated by NASA and other space agencies to hide Earth's flatness. These and other flat-Earth assertions appear on the website of the Flat Earth Society (FES), allegedly the world's oldest official flat Earth organization, dating to the early 1800s.
Whether or not the FEIC cruise will rely on GPS or deploy an entirely new flat-Earth-based navigation system for finding the end of the world, remains to be seen.

I don’t expect to make any headway with people who worship at the altar of NASA et.al. NASA as a part of the Defense Dept. has its reasons for the deceptions, maybe even some good reasons. If you really believe we have a satellite out there a million miles to study climate change on earth, when low orbit satellites are already doing this job quite effectively, who is getting conned? Artist creations using computer graphics making stuff up is what we are talking about, not digital photography of an actual object. Go through the NASA galleries sometime and look at the inconsistencies. China’s shot of the earth from the moon was quickly shown as a photoshop hoax. Nothing has left the earth’s lower orbit for a reason.
You are kidding right? So Nikon makes a camera lens that can see through the earth? That’s what is going on when something is below the horizon. You can’t see the object because the earth is literally in between you and the object so unless this camera can see through mountains then it can’t see things below the horizon. If you believe the Earth is flat then you can easily believe the moon is made of cheese. There is equal evidence of both.
It's so weird. The truth may be that both might be right.
The earth might be MUCH bigger than previously thought, which gives the flat earthers correct data (About its flatness), and that the earth really is spherical, which causes the phases of the moon, and the rise and sun of the ... well you know.
I really don't know, but it is surely fun to investigate.

So you linked to a cheesy youtube conspiracy video that theorizes that the reason that grainy black and white video was shown from Apollo 11 was that it was faked and they didn't want anyone to know. If you want to know the REAL reason why grainy black and white video was transmitted from the moon it takes about a 5 minutes search past the conspiracy videos.
Here's a good one: How Nasa Brought Color TV to the Moon. This article explains the technical details why video was the way it was. In short they had to transmit a BUNCH of data....voice, telemetry data, etc AND video data over one communication channel. Video takes very high bandwidth so they didn't feel comfortable compromising the communication channel. No mystery unless you get all your information from youtube flat earth videos.

Well, there is a small degree of refraction caused by the atmosphere, so you can technically see something that has gone just below the horizon if you can see far enough and the atmospheric conditions are right.

Well, Erastothenes was able to make a quite accurate estimate of the diameter of the earth over 2000 years ago with very simple methodology. That’s really not an area of science that is very debatable at this point.

Don’t forget that they also brought other cameras with them and shot better footage, they just couldn’t broadcast that live on television. Still, they brought that film back and we do have high resolution photographs from the surface of the moon.

That is the whole point, they can see the objects and they shouldn't be able to. Of course if you refuse to see for yourself I can't make you.
