I don’t think he would publicly state a fake pardon and then secretly execute/jail them, as that would be a lie to the public and he wouldn’t be one to go along with that in my mind.
However, I do believe he may not disclose the punishments in order to allow the country’s wounds to close; while at the same time removing them publicly from the stage and demonstrating that they committed actionable crimes.
They have to be thinking about the potential for blowback from the 10% of the public that will never be able to come to grips with what they’ve been told their entire lives.

At some point though there will have to be enough of a public demonstration of indictment, trial, conviction and execution for traitorous treason to satisfy our side’s sense of equal justice being served and to also serve as a deterrent for Leftist future criminality.
