Ok...I NEVER watch Hockey, but we are at an RV Park on our way somewhere...so it's on...and St Louis, who has Never won a Stanley Cup, is ahead...plus hockey seems to be the only sport unspoiled by freedom haters these days. Go St. Louis!

Well out here in reality what you consider don’t matter. Out here in reality the Cup is ALWAYS in spring. The Superbowl is ALWAYS in winter. And the World Series is ALWAYS in fall. It IS right. Get over it. The World Series always ended in October. Football always ended with the Bowl Games on January 1.
I don't give a hoot about the Superbowl. Those traitors who diss our National Anthem can go to hell.

I remember when we Avs were DESPERATE for a win, any win, and the next game was the Blues, “worst team in the league,” so surely we could beat THEM, right?? We did not. (But we finally beat the kings once this season, which meant after years of watching the Avalanche in person lose, we finally got to see them WIN at Staples Center!

I do think the NHL needs to figure out how to get the season over with by May 31st. Even fans of hockey start to focus on other things once June rolls around - and the ice will be mushy in most NHL cities come June, so not ideal playing conditions.
Congratulations to the St. Louis Blues on winning their first Cup. At the very least, the Blues should send Sabres GM Jason Botterill a fruit basket for his contribution of O'Reilly for peanuts.
