"Carly Fiorina makes mincemeat of interviewer Katie Couric - Climate change" (4:30 min)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZ6t7m5RlnQ
She certainly said the right things regarding the GW hoax, but what tripped her up was she thought she was smarter than Trump. When did she start thinking she was smarter than Trump? That’s when she went down.
Yes, a (slow, deliberate, condescending) blink is what it actually was. I didn't know how else to describe it. Anyway, it seemed to have had the same general intent as an eye roll, IMO.
I think you're reading way too much ("slow, deliberate, condescending") into what is just normal behavior. Everybody blinks.
It was the blink together with the facial expression. That plus knowing who she is and how people of her type generally think about people on the right, especially on issues like this one, where they are 110% convinced it is truth and deniers are stupid and/or nuts.
It was a look like, “Yeah, go ahead, let’s hear what you have to say”, while thinking to herself, “I know it’s going to be some kind of anti-warming BS”.
Watch it on full screen. At just about the 2-sec mark in the video she does the blink and at the same time makes a face, IMO, revealing, be it subtly, her inner expectations of what Carly is going to say.
When you roll your eyes, your eyeballs look up and roll to one side or the other. Your eyelids don't shut.
What Couric did was to blink because her eyelids closed and then opened.
But how you arrive at all of your speculation, supposition and inference about what Couric's motivations, intent and thoughts were from just a normal eye blink is beyond my abilities.
Let's just stick with the facts. She blinked. And so did Carly. People blink. It's normal.
But, but what that would to the soul-stirring
hyperbole; the bombastic, unfounded wise-sounding
hooey that gets links clicked?
Certainly seems that way.
The simultaneous combination of these 3 things was obviously too subtle. The blink, the facial expression, plus the prior knowledge of how she and other elitist libs generally think about people on the right.
Actually, I would have been very surprised if she HADN'T given it away in some manner. It's not an easy thing to do, for anyone. To 100% hide from someone what you're thinking or feeling on the inside. You must have failed "Body Language 101".
What are you babbling about?
So now you're blaming me because I don't see it your way?
I understand what you're saying.
I just don't agree with you.
OK, let us just leave it that way.
:)
But again, *everyone* reveals signs of what they are thinking or feeling on the inside. It is darn near impossible not to. And if you already know it fairly good detail where someone stands on something, it’s even easier to read the signs.
People who can read War and Peace in a bowl of alphabet soup.
Picking over facial ticks of inconsequential people
to find some eureka moment is laughable.
Boy, do you suck at analogies. I merely said that you could see it in her big liberal, climate-change-believing, people-on-the-right-are-stupid-and/or-ignorant-for-not-believing-it face that she was anticipating hearing the standard or other form of the climate change denier argument from Carly.
This is not exactly quantum physics here. More like 2 + 2.
Uh-huh.
You must have been born yesterday to have such a poor understanding of people. And also be a generally unobservant person. The type that goes through life barely noticing the various things going on around them.
I do admire the pedestal you have erected for yourself.
But, no more bumps for your silly thread. Have a good one.
NO ONE CARES.
One-trick pony? Hey, dumb ass, I have more stuff on my FR Home page than you in all your shallowness and simplicity are capable of understanding. And it's only a minute fraction of what I had on there previously. I narrowed it down to focus on the Democrat Russia collusion hoax.
That pedestal that I have built for myself over many years of hard research has a mighty strong foundation.
Writing down a bunch of gibberish on your FR home page doesn't make you smarter than everyone else.
It only means you don't have a life.
NO ONE CARES.
