But Christians are never allowed such religious accommodations by the racist, sexist, and anti-christian federal government.

It’s just part of the replacement program, where difficult to control American natives are replaced by compliant 3rd world imports.

RE - Is he allowed to carry his religiously required kirpan dagger?

I also noticed that yahoo did not mention their knife(kirpan) one of their five required articles of faith. I can only guess that was intentional by yahoo. shave and haircuut would be a better idea. If he wants it bad enough, let him join the indian army.

The only places in the Army you can't have a blade is Basic/AIT, and maybe some SCIFs. Otherwise, knives are perfectly fine. One guy in my old unit had a pretty nice Bowie knife. Thing was maybe an inch or two smaller than a machete.

Fwiw, I once was an “advisor to” an ARNG Light Infantry unit & EVERY member of the battalion carried a sheath knife & some of the members carried 2 or more knives all the time.
(To “fit in” with the unit members, I broke out my old dagger, made OCONUS from a re-handled & sharpened to a razor edge US carbine bayonet blade, and wore it on my belt.)

Some of the SM were carrying custom-made/expensive Bowies & some knives as commonplace as the USMC-issue Kabar.

Pastafarians need to sue. Sounds like a discrimination!

“.....less than one minute apart.”

When you teach the same techniques, and they are followed in a certain order, the results can be consistent. Having only a couple of seconds difference while doing an action to stay alive is a lifetime. If done right you’ll live, if you go over around 13 seconds donning and clearing, there is a strong chance you’ll be poisoned and will need the atropine/2-pam chloride injector, possibly more than once. This is why after each injection you poke and bend it through the uniform breast pocket to show how much has been injected. But depending on the inhalation, it may not make any difference anyway.

But this is for nerve agents. Blister agents, like mustard gas, will also effect the skin. First step is to block it from the airways. The mask accomplishes that by protecting the eyes and mouth with the proper filter. The hood covers the main exposed critical areas of the ears, neck and scalp. Problem with that stuff is it is slower in acting and may not have been detected. The first symptoms are in the eyes and that can be an hour later. Safe to say vesicants are nasty stuff.

Uniform: (yoo-nuh-fawrm)...

Adjective: Identical or consistent, as from example to example, place to place, or moment to moment, as in uniform spelling; a uniform building code, without variations in detail.

Noun: An identifying outfit or style of dress worn by the members of a given profession, organization, or rank.

Verb: (used with object) to make uniform or standard. To clothe in or furnish with a uniform.

I agree Sikhs are”cool”, and well known to be a warrior sect...History has proven they make fine soldiers, would welcome any qualified Sikh who wishes to serve in our military, and be proud to serve along side any patriotic American Sikh...

But we have a standard uniform with regulations for facial and hair length for long established good reasons...Those wishing to serve must comply to American standards, not demand their own...Military service may be a duty, but it is NOT a right...
