The difference is truly appalling in how the media covered Clinton's vs Trump's visits to Normandy on 6/6/1994 vs 6/6/2019
Late evening 6/6/94 on the Limbaugh TV Show, Rush ran a network news clip from that day showing Clinton slowly walking alone on Omaha Beach, apparently deep in thought.
Suddenly he spotted a number of rocks sitting close together on the sand, and apparently on the spur of the moment, reached down to rearrange the rocks into a Christian cross.
But Rush said, Whoa!! He backed up the clip, then showed later segments, focusing on views of the sandy beach, and said, Look here, and here, and here! There are no other rocks ANYwhere else in the views we have of this beach.
So how come this group of rocks, all about the same size, and the perfect number to make a cross, just happen to be sitting right here in Clinton's pathway? And there's no other rocks in sight?
And how did there happen to be a cameraman in just the right position to follow Clinton and then zoom in on the cross immediately after he made it?
As Rush proved, it was most obviously a scripted moment, colluded in by the MSM and Clinton's staff, to portray the most anti-military President we've ever had in a sympathetic, even heroic, light on a major D-Day anniversary.
Fast forward to today, the 75th anniversary.
I googled "D Day" on my cellphone. Other than two FoxNews articles (which I'm certain google includes only because their algorithms know that I click on more FoxNews articles than all other news sites put together and multiplied by 10), here are the links returned by google in top-to-bottom order:
I'm not saying any of this is surprising or unexpected. I just want to document it here.
Then why not stop whining about why no Freepers or other MAGA activists have organized a protest outside media outlets that you can join with, and go out and be the Freeper who organizes one in your area?
Ever heard of Operation Infinite Freep?
That would require quite a life change in my case.
I understand your point.
I post such things because I am fed up but , its not about you.
I spent many hundreds of hours participating in Operation Infinite Freep between October 2001 and early Spring of 2009 - which corresponds to the period that the local Leftists in our town and nearby towns stood on street corners for an hour every Saturday, and we stood on the opposite corners.
After awhile it became such a completely natural thing to do, that it makes it easy to forget the very first time I went out, and how extremely nervous I was at being - as far as I knew - the only single person to face off against them.
I wasn't! :-) :-) A local VFW post came out that first week and stayed the entire 7.5 years - the vast majority of them Vietnam Vets who were bound and determined to not stand by and let the latest generation of heroes suffer alone the vile noises of "baby-killer!" slander that they had to bear all by themselves in their youth.
Within another week or two or three, I was no longer the only Freeper out there, either.
On the topic of D-Day and google results, I notice their main page’s featured daily image is celebrating the 75th anniversary of D-Day with ...... “Day 1 of the Women’s World Cup” ???
If you go back a bit in our history you will find that the press has always been irresponsible to the point of treason.
Your statement is true without a doubt.
The press’s one-sidedness has never been this unbalanced before. Once upon a time they were just about as hard on democrats as on republicans.
We are in a whole new universe of rebellious treason amongst their ranks now
It mainly stems from two generations of outright communist instruction in many schools of journalism
Lol, what a dip.
I bow before you, O Troll King of the value-less, content-free, 1-liner nonentities.
Try being a man.
Try engaging brain before hitting Post.
