President Donald Trump just touched down in Stansted Airport, his first stop on a three-day state visit to the U.K., the goal of which is to "reaffirm the steadfast and special relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom."

During his stay, Trump has a packed itinerary, which features events with the royal family like a tea with Prince Charles at Clarence House and a banquet held by the Queen at Buckingham Palace. He will also lay a wreath on the Grave of the Unknown Warrior at Westminster Abbey, will meet with Prime Minister Theresa May at No. 10 Downing Street, and will host a dinner at the U.S. Ambassador's residence. Then, later in the week, Trump will travel to Portsmouth for an event commemorating the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings before heading back to the U.S.

Read on to see all the best photos from his visit here.

England is not our enemy.

I'm sure the President does not hold your viewpoint.

Do you mean the people, or their government?

I’ll grant the former the benefit of doubt for now.

The latter is indeed our enemy.

If you’re referring to the monarchy...

My ancestors bugged outta Britain in the 1630s. Some were Green Mountain Boys. I come from a long line of folks who had a pi$$ poor opinion of British royals.

IIRC, Obama NEVER attended a single D-Day ceremony in any of the 8 years he was in the Oval Office.

Our Melania does not *walk*. She floats.

Stilettos are doable. It just takes lots of practice.

In the case of our lovely First Lady, being naturally poised and graceful surely helps.

I hope the Queen isn’t terribly disappointed at President Trump’s refusal to follow his tacky predecessor; not gifting Her Majesty with an IPod full of his own speeches.

Prince Chuck is a sad reminder of the dangers of close line breeding.

Never met a Scot that ‘revered England’. Britain and the Union maybe if they aren’t nationalists. They really get very grumpy at being called English, even the Unionists.

The Northern Irish are even worse judging by my interactions with them. They aren’t any more fond of us than their Republican counterparts. They view us as aloof and detatched from them (which is kind of true, many of us wonder why they can’t just reunite with the rest of Ireland and go on their merry way, which annoys the hell out of them). They only suffer us because they prefer being our compatriots to being compatriots of their southern neighbours for historic reasons.
