1931 Duesenberg Model J Town Car
When Jay found the last original-owner, unrestored Duesenberg in the world languishing in a Manhattan parking garage, he knew he had to call in an expert.
Thanks to Randy Ema, this Woods-bodied car owned by the Strauss family is finally back on the road.

When I was a kid I had a metal toy Dusey of some later vintage(i thnk).
I wonder what it would be worth today.
Yup. My bro-in-law ran into him on some ride in the LA area. Said he was just a regular guy, standing around and talking cars with everyone ... even got under some guy's car to fix a minor problem. Miss him, miss his show ... Kimmel couldn't carry his toolbox.
My buddies and I ran into Mr. Leno a few months back while having lunch at Taste Chicago in Burbank. This place was owned and operated my Joe Mantegna. We where there a couple of months ago on the last day of operation. Mr. Mantegna was nothing but a gentleman.
Jay was driving a 1918 Pierce Arrow, and, since we were not being autograph hounds, but rather auto enthusiasts, he gave us the most gracious tour of the car. He is a gear head, unpretentious, and a genuine nice guy. My understanding is that his “garage” is near the Burbank airport, and watching his videos it’s obvious he’s driving around that area on every show. He is also a real gentleman. I’m lucky to have met them both.
“Kimmel couldn’t carry his toolbox.”
Kimmel secretly wishes he was good enough to be in the same room with Leno’s toolbox.
