I recommend Chernobyl on HBO. It is excellent. Great story how really brilliant people had to find a solution for the catastrophe while dealing with the desperation and paranoia of soviet communism.
I agree. The former USSR is correctly depicted as a non-working, bureaucratic mess.
I will look for it. My brother, who is someone whose opinion I highly respect, also recommended it. And he seems pretty fussy.
Except for horror films.
