Q Research General #8447 No.6606786
Hoover died right after that letter. Wonder if he responded. Who was the author?
CFR relevant (note “RBG” initials???):
Anonymous 05/28/19 (Tue) 00:45:0582f463 (5) No.6606240>>6606247 >>6606271 >>6606287 >>6606290 >>6606297 >>6606307 >>6606425 >>6606504 >>6606518 >>6606617 >>6606801 >>6606847 >>6606867...
[Follows was a letter to J.Edgar Hoover, CFR subject....what appears to be a routing slip stamp has “RBG” signed initials. Unclassified in November 1980. ]

Quite interesting -
Regarding the “RBG” signed initials, I’m inclined to think that they are not the same as our Supreme Court “RBG.”
Her wiki page shows this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruth_Bader_Ginsburg
“In 1980, President Jimmy Carter appointed her to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, where she served until her appointment to the Supreme Court. “
I really don’t know how these things work for unclassifying material. Would a judge on US Court of Appeals need to approve / acknowledge the unclassifying of classified material?
Other people who know these procedures need to weigh in on this one!
Regarding the content of the letter:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hale_Boggs
Hale Boggs was a democrat representative from Louisiana. He had been a member of the Warren Commission.
“...In 1972, while he was still majority leader, the twin engine airplane in which Boggs was travelling with congressman Nick Begich, of Alaska, and two others, disappeared while flying from Anchorage to Juneau, Alaska...”
AND
“...In April 1971, he made a speech on the floor of the House in which he strongly attacked Federal Bureau of Investigation Director J. Edgar Hoover and the whole of the FBI.
That led to a conversation on April 6, 1971 between President Richard M. Nixon and the Republican minority leader, Gerald R. Ford, Jr.. Nixon said that he could no longer take counsel from Boggs as a senior member of Congress. In the recording of this call, Nixon asked Ford to arrange for the House delegation to include an alternative to Boggs. Ford speculated that Boggs is on pills as well as alcohol.
Later that month, Boggs went even further: “OVER THE POSTWAR YEARS, WE HAVE GRANTED TO THE ELITE AND SECRET POLICE WITHIN OUR SYSTEM VAST NEW POWERS OVER THE LIVES AND LIBERTIES OF THE PEOPLE. AT THE REQUEST OF THE TRUSTED AND RESPECTED HEADS OF THOSE FORCES, AND THEIR APPEAL TO THE NECESSITIES OF NATIONAL SECURITY, WE HAVE EXEMPTED THOSE GRANTS OF POWER FROM DUE ACCOUNTING AND STRICT SURVEILLANCE....”
AND
“In the 1979 novel ‘The Matarese Circle,’ author Robert Ludlum portrayed Boggs as having been killed to stop his investigation of the Kennedy assassination....”
Cokie Roberts was one of his best known children (all of whom are prominent.) NPR reporter and round table guest on “This Week with George Stephanopoulos.”
