The Chicago virus (i.e. communism) has spread throughout the Midwest. This is the main reason the Midwestern states aren't quite the rock-ribbed bastions of conservatism that we think they should be.

Indiana is still cornering conservatism in the Midwest with the exception of the NW corner, Indy, and Bloomington (home of IU).

I still propose we split away every major top 25 pop center into it’s own state. Then states like Illinois would be conservative and the People’s Republic of Chicago could continue their own demise.

I can see a motto forming already: “Build a bigger Beltway”
