So much of the book came from this gardening thread and our angel Johnny.
As for me, I am now 85. Had some trouble this past year starting in May, 2018. A few vertebra in my neck collapsed and pressed a nerve going through both shoulders and both wrists. That was major pain and I could not use my arms without pain. I now have a new orthopedic doc pain specialist of three weeks ago who knew where to place the Cortisone shots and stop the pain.
I am lucky to be as good as I am.
I have started a new book:
“The New Testament - For Thinkers”
I have been teaching a Bible class made up of Seniors.
I am starting back on this board. I know I missed a number of names and some listed were not on this board but on other FR threads, but I have never forgotten the learning and fun we had here. Never go away.
Marcella! Dear one. You have been missed. And Johnny, I think about home every day I am on FR. Just today on another thread someone told someone else to “pound sand”. An expression Johnny used frequently. I’ll be sending you an email. I’m sure there is a lot of wisdom in our book. God bless!

Oh Marcella, it is so good to hear from you again. Lady Bender and I are still growing a garden in spite of the colder than normal temps here on Humboldt Bay. Johnnies name comes up from time to time as does Swampsniper...
