Disagree. I have been watching her descent for a couple of seasons now. Dany just plain snapped. She wasn't satisfied with just winning a battle. She wanted blood-thirsty revenge and there was no indication at all that Jon Snow will come to any realization in favor of the now "mad queen". Dany can not be trusted with the dragon nor with Greyworm at her side.
But also now, I am curious as to where Bronn fits in all this? If Tyrion dies, Bronn doesn't get Highgarden. Will Bronn show up and effect the outcome? Does he save Tyrion from Daenerys?
I hadn’t thought of that. I would be unhappy with such a “slick gimmick”. Danaerys goes all Darth Vader and tells Tyrion “You have failed me for the last time!” But suddenly Bronn shows up and kills her with a crossbow and cracks, “I’m just making sure I get my castle.”
That would be bad. But I can see it happening.
I think this guy hits it out of the park with his review:
It isnt that Dany slid into madness. Its that they did not build into it with the writing and it came off as rushed. Just three episodes ago she was riding her dragon with Jon and wishing they could just disappear.
Yes, I thought of Bronn too. He seems to lose out, but he did make both of his deals with Lancasters. I don’t know who he would take revenge on.
