Excuse the vanity, but I have been curious for some time about Sen. Mazie Hirono's citizenship status. I cannot find a date for her naturalization. She was born in Japan in 1957. Her family immigrated to Hawaii some time during her childhood.
What I cannot remember is what happened to foreign born residents of Hawaii when the Territory became a state (1959?). Were they "grandfathered" in when Hawaii became a state? Or, did they have to go through the naturalization process with classes, tests, and oaths of allegiance? Although Hirono attended school in Hawaii, she sounds like she has no background in government, or the Constitution.
Would it matter if she wasn’t?
Is Congress going to remove her ?
She is one of the most idiotic people in government and that is a tall order as competition is fierce.
She covered for Daniel Inouye.
>Dont have a clue about her citizenship, but she for damn sure is a >friggin commie beeyotch.
All of Hawaii is...
Nope, those were Germans ;-)
If I recall correctly, Her ethnically Japanese parents were living in Hawaii, and one or both had US Citizenship - but they chose to return to Japan, to be on the Japanese side in World War Two.
During the economic hardship in Japan after the war, little Maisie’s parental claim to American citizenship was a ticket out.
From my travels, I noted the natives don't like Japanese at all.
To the point where I asked about it.
They even discriminate against them.
Hawaiians will actually charge Japanese tourists to pay *extra* for say, a gallon of milk in a store.
As in, "It is 2.69, but for you it is five dollars".
I guess if you're "big in Japan", maybe they forget the surcharge.
Not sure how she got where she is.
Hawaiians *are* Americans, and proud of it.
Despite the whole being liberal all the time thing.
I read recently that her IQ ranks in the lower 1% of senators.
Hawaii is one of the most racist localities I’ve ever visited,..for a year or more.
She is a typical Sino-Hawaiian bigot and hates men on top of it.
Not that they should be believed, but Wikipedia says she was naturalized in 1959 when Hawaii became a state.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazie_Hirono
Also, it is stated she was born in 1947 rather than 1957.
Hawaii continues to be a cauldron of lies and foreign thieves attempting to con US citizens as they morph to be one of US; thus making NBC a prerequisite for anyone attempting to run for a government position.
Time for a bit of change to amend our Constitution.
I know she’s a natural moron.
She is Tokyo Rose’s granddaughter.
Since there are 50 senators she falls in the bottom 2%.
OK, that was stupid on my part. I gave up caffeine a while ago. That was also a mistake.
There are 100 Senators, two from each state.
Yes, that was a typo by me. I intended 1947. But I could find no reference to the naturalization process. Did she have to take classes, sign oaths, pass tests, etc.? The reason I’m asking is that she does not behave as a good citizen. If so, there is precedent for deporting her, and I’d chip in for the plane ticket if we could ensure that she’d stay away.
I noticed the same thing when I was on a trip to Hawaii in 1973. There was a lot of anger toward the Japanese at that time. The Japanese had come in and bought up all the hotels and fired all the Hawaiians and replaced them with Japanese. Much resentment.
If she's caught in a crime we could deport her like they did with members of the Mafia during the depression. IMHO, every time she opens her mouth, it's a crime.
Most Japanese came to Hawaii well before WWlI......they came as laborers.
Found at the link posted prior - under “Early Life and Education”
“Raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Hirono became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1959, the year that Hawaii became a state.[9]”
This one statement is all that was found. Her permanent records and credentials as sketchy as BO’s were. Neither is NBC
