Looking at the teens and 20-somethings around here, it may be just getting too difficult to find a skinny young woman. I had to breakout my HS yearbooks just to convince myself I wasn’t imagining it, but it is stunning how much fatter this generation is than mine was.

So true. I laughed when I saw the picture of my little Audrey with her pretty long hair hacked off. But you’re right.....I would have been very upset if it had been my daughter. Thankfully my daughter calmed down and saw the humor in it. I emphasized that it will grow back, she’ll look cute in a little short haircut, and in time it will be a funny story.

I would agree but just recently I have been in 2 doctor’s office where a number (not all) of the female assistants/nurses were so thin they looked malnourished. That’s not a good look either.
