Good morning!
Isn’t it funny that Comey was so quick to criticize Trump when he called it a Witch Hunt in the midst of the Mueller investigation but now that the shoe is on the other foot.....
All I can say is I’m enjoying the heck out of the pigs squealing.
And we are going to hear a lot of it!
This is the folding Esbit stove widely available. It uses small fuel tabs.
There are two sizes available - both work fine. Stove and fuel tabs cost less than $10.
We keep one on hand for storm season and power outages and can make coffee on it with a small 2 cup percolator (vintage Wearever from e-Bay).
When hurricane Irma hit the Fort Myers area we made it on the outdoor grill.
Look on the bright side—it is George Strait Day in Texas today (May 18th):

[Chorus:]
All my ex’s live in Texas
And Texas is the place I’d dearly love to be
But all my ex’s live in Texas
And that’s why I hang my hat in Tennessee
Rosanna’s down in Texarkana
Wanted me to push her broom
Sweet Eileen’s in Abilene
She forgot I hung the moon
And Allison’s in Galveston
Somehow lost her sanity
And Dimples who now lives in Temple’s
Got the law looking for me
[Chorus:]
All my ex’s live in Texas
And Texas is the place I’d dearly love to be
But all my ex’s live in Texas
And that’s why I hang my hat in Tennessee
I remember that old Frio River
Where I learned to swim
But it brings to mind another time
Where I wore my welcome thin
By transcendental meditation
I go there each night
But I always come back to myself
Long before daylight
[Chorus:]
All my ex’s live in Texas
And Texas is the place I’d dearly love to be
But all my ex’s live in Texas
And therefor I reside in Tennessee
[Bridge]
Some folks think I’m hiding
It’s been rumored that I died
But I’m alive and well in Tennessee
Thanks, pax!
LOL I always thought that song was funny.
Hey Exit -
Remember when CMT played real country music?
Yes, I do!
My mom preferred country music when I was little, so we listened to it in the 60s on the radio.
We lived 12 miles west of NYC!
Glad you can laugh, Rusty.
The steel guitar in it always make me think of the classic country western music, and that was the sound Strait was going for in this song (1987). Has a Roger Miller vibe to it.
Thanks! I’ve never seen those. But it has to be used outside, right? Because with the rain I don’t have a covered place for that.
But that looks like a great option, easier than firing up a Hitachi! I think I’ll get one.
My electricity just came back so I rushed and made coffee.
Make some extra for us—we are on our way over.
Yee haw....a great two-steppin’ song.
I also love Amarillo By Mornin’.
God bless Texas and George Strait!
My dad loved Big Reds!
I need to store some Dr. Pepper for times like these.
I have one similar to this one....
But, I like your model, better....for how compact it is, when folded.
