My daughter says they are safe. Reading local news, collapsed buildings and people trapped in vehicles in flooded areas. Power outages all over, and tree limbs in streets.

Thank you, looking at the radar hopefully it’s moving out. I just pray folks will stay away from flooded areas here.
I prefer tornadoes in the daytime, at least you can see where they are. And our center had to evacuate so they were relying on Midland station for tornado locations.

Guess I’ll try going back to bed. I stood out on my back patio for a few and the birds are singing so I guess all is well. We had a storm a few weeks ago that knocked a bunch of bird nests out of the trees so that was sad.

Some good news for ,Texas
Craftsmen Production Returning To US — The business section of yesterday’s (May 17) The Wall Street Journal had some good news we haven’t seen mentioned in other outlets.
Stanley Black & Decker Inc. is moving its production of Craftsmen wrenches from China to Fort Worth, Texas. It will employ 500 persons to make 10 million wrenches and 50 million sockets annually.

I don’t know if there is such a thing, if not, I should invent it. I wish I had a gas stove. I live in an apartment, but when I had my own house I always had a gas stove.
