Just heard Alice Cooper's Schools Out song. Reminded me of the 60's when there was so much 'free love'. Looking back I don't believe it. Just the media's attempt that it was all-out there for the taking and you were missing out if you weren't getting it. Drugs and music were the SUBSTITUTES for sex. Women were out there but not as available as the media would have you believe. Being easily led again.
"She does it, she does it, The whole town knows she does it..."
Sad to say, the late 60’s and 70’s were indeed wild...sex, drugs, and rock and roll. Back then it seemed fun and nothing wrong. But thankfully, the Lord had mercy and let me know He thought differently.
Sounds like the same stuff is still going on with today’s youth...except now it’s rap instead of rock.
I dunno about that:

Talking to my daughter whos besides mom to an infant and a two year old also my very proficient Girl Friday (can I say that) or Im talking to my field boss or my rib and so forth or listening to talk radio or music from my era 1964-2000
Now Ill have to stop and pull off exit ramps or rest areas or truck ramps to just touch my phone
I know I know.
Btw I always admit when Im wrong publicly here
Even though I used to have a high 140s IQ and graduated college easily with a worthless degree albeit back when they actually graded and you couldnt withdraw up till the end like now and I even took the LSAT and was accepted at fine schools like Tulane and Wake Forest and UVA...i was bright but undisciplined...a crammer and otherwise hedonist
I have for a long time misspelled that word for my intended usage
Baring versus barring.
I thought barred was just for owls.
Thank you for teaching me and saving me embarrassing myself in the future

The age of Aquarius
Optimism in the air
A great time to be a kid
I was 11 and we all were laying out in this cut field next to my house on blankets looking up at the sky listening to broadcasts on the transistor radio
All of a sudden the stars and moon were blotted out by Betty Anns face as she crept over and gave me a big wet kiss out of nowhere
Shed been lying next to Pam giggling
We were sixth graders together and she was blond and blue eyes and wore my silver ID bracelet...God she was so pretty like Kim Novak at 12
Heaven in the sky
Heaven on that blanket
Man.....like a laser beam in my dream

What a great neighborhood I grew up in so many kids it was moment in time till the federal gov decided to build projects down white rock road and that was it
We moved north to where the rich kids were....whole nother awakening
We did stop twice in Mississippi. The small town of Liberty where one of the Mormon guys knew a family- pretty Mormon daughters- then on to Meridian where we stayed with my dad’s prosperous cousin. I guess we were entertaining because no one other than the Houston cops objected to our presence.
We stayed a few days in my old home town across from Washington DC. I visited some of my old haunts and registered for the draft. Funny how that sticks in my memory.
LOLs! That explains it!!
