Even after making a left-wing turn, pop megastar Taylor Swift once again finds herself the target of the woke masses Wednesday night after a performance of hers that many thought ripped off Beyoncé.
During Swifts performance at the Billboard Music Awards Wednesday, Taylor Swift used a marching band drum line and stood in a signature pose, leading many viewers to compare her performance to Beyoncés 2018 Coachella appearance.
One social media user posted a photo to Instagram comparing the two performances:

Debates over cultural appropriation and the artistic license of musicians has engulfed popular music over the last few years, as some think that white pop stars and rappers benefit off black culture without understanding it or being a part of it.

Agreed. Although "over-rated celebrities" is sort of a redundancy. "Over-rated" is obviously already implied with pop culture celebs.
:-o Was that for real? She didn’t even look out of breath. Paula Abdul - 56yo. Of course, she always could dance.
For all the loudmouths know, Taylor Swift apprenticed with that specific hooker.
I’m pretty sure neither Beyoncé or Swift are the first women to spread their legs for the entertainment of others.
Pulease. One looks like an empowered woman, the other looks like she wants more anal sex.
It isn’t same pose. I hate to tell Beyonce, but her “signature pose” is hardly unique. Like no one has ever stood like that before? Heck, I could stand like that if I wanted to, but I would look ridiculous.
It isn’t the same drum line. They drummers aren’t lined up the same way. The costumes are different. Beyonce’s has some horns in it.
So, we’re at the point that if a black person does something— anything— and a non-black does something similiar —or, in this case, barely similar — then it is “cultural appropriation”? Beyonce — and therefore, all blacks — have a copyright on this? I’m not even sure I would count Beyonce as culture, but that’s probably just the white man in me talking.
By the way, the trombone was invented in Europe. And how about that blonde hair she has?
You could say they both ripped off METROPOLIS, but Kylie Minogue did her tour 5 years before Beyonce did "Get me Bodied" (I think at the Billboards?). Everybody is ripping off someone else at this point.
You made your bed, Tay-Tay. Now go lie in it.
Both.
If you don’t have low IQ you can’t enjoy pop culture, because vapidity of the lowest common denominator of shallow talent and shiny things can’t hold your interest.
When a black person speaks English is that cultural appropriation?
Swift’s entry was classier as opposed to Beyoncé who is trashier
or her Daisy Dukes shorts
LOL...Bouncy copied Taylor’s blonde hair. You’re right!
Paula is righteous.
