I can't tell if you're serious or joking? In the field not too long ago, my buddy cut his thumb pretty bad. Click-click. Stapled up. When he went to a doc a couple days later, the doc said that was the same thing he would have done.

Much easier than cleaning sutures and stitching, and much faster. Fast enough you can wash and get them in while the area is still in 'nerve-shock' and relatively painless.

I had staples in lieu of sutures once.

Having them removed was rather painful.

How do you staple it? Doesn’t a stapler need an “opposing side”???

I just superglued my last leak...
