If they walk right into the Embassy with sidearms and the door is opened to them you have to assume it was requested. I assume that the Ecuadoran Embassy does not have a detachment of Soldiers and has to rely on the London police when there is a break in or something. Sure, probably just checking on J.A. to make certain he’s alright.

I’ve never seen an embassy that didn’t have some level of armed security. Typically military, but often armed national civilians of the embassy in question.
