Nice bike Cletus! Has there ever been a Free Republic bike ride/or charity event? Freepers are scattered across the planet, but maybe something like a coordinated, U.S. baton pass, or sumpin similar (flag maybe), might be fun? :)

My first real motorcycle was a 450 Honda with DOHC, I bought when I was 16; looked exactly like the one below.

As you head out this spring, be sure to keep the rubber side down! ;)

Contemporary with my formative years. Had one redneck friend with a 450DOHC that would run a wheel-stand over a mile.
Had a large cadre of biker friends so we all bought different and rode each others bikes.

Oooh! are we doing bikes? This is my last street bike. The guy I sold it to put on the struts, slick and wheelie bar. But I rode it on the street, taking advantage of unsuspecting sport bike riders.
