Nice bike Cletus! Has there ever been a Free Republic bike ride/or charity event? Freepers are scattered across the planet, but maybe something like a coordinated, U.S. baton pass, or sumpin similar (flag maybe), might be fun? :)
My first real motorcycle was a 450 Honda with DOHC, I bought when I was 16; looked exactly like the one below.
As you head out this spring, be sure to keep the rubber side down! ;)

I know, that’s why I bought it. Mine is the last of the GL500 builds (1982). Owner couldn’t roll it anymore and sold it to me CHEAP ($1500) with 30K on it (2-owner).
Now that I’m older and wiser, a 500cc commuter made sense as a re-entry bike. I figger I’ll roll it for another 10 years here in MI (6 month riding season) with very few “long” trips (over 200 miles)

Intriguing and unique numbers in the graphic you posted Bitt. Why does OR have only 173 when CA and WA have many, many more than that. Same with SC/NC, and MA vs. surrounding states.
Figure out the reason why and I think it will lead to what most of these sealed indictments are for, maybe?
Illegals or human traffickers top of my list at first glance.

Contemporary with my formative years. Had one redneck friend with a 450DOHC that would run a wheel-stand over a mile.
Had a large cadre of biker friends so we all bought different and rode each others bikes.
My 650 Tiger
Bonny 650
BSA 700
ISDT/Dirts included Elsinore, CZ and Husqy
My best bud owned a Bultaco 250 for a while (after it won the ISDT the year before). Can’t buy those anywhere anymore.

When one or two caravans were making big news some time last year, I looked into the org helping them along the way etc. Beck talks about Pueblo Sin Frontieras, or People Without Borders.
