ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A former superior court judge was charged with sex crimes against a child after officers arrested him at a hotel near the Biltmore House.

According to police reports, Dan Green was arrested and charged with sex crimes against a child, disseminating obscene material and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, along with providing alcohol to someone under 21, WSOC reported.

Green was released from jail after posing a $75,000 bond.

A judge told Green on Monday in court that he could face life in prison if convicted.

 

The North Carolina bar named Green "Citizen Lawyer of 2018." Green, who has been practicing law in the Hickory area for nearly 38 years, has also served as a Catawba County superior court judge, president of the Western Symphony and chairman of the Democratic Party of Catawba County.

Just a reminder for all who complain that “nothing is happening”.

It sure looks to me like a LOT is happening. The Trump/Q team is whittling away at the evil in our country. They cut away a little more of it every day. When we don’t see the mass arrests, we should not be discouraged. This way is so much better because it prevents riots and chaos. Just take them down one at a time, quietly.

Someday we’ll learn all that has happened.

It does no good to cut out the evil in the country if you destroy the country in the process. (Doctor: The operation was a great success, but unfortunately the patient died.) Trump is making sure that the patient not only survives the operation, but is healthy and robust.

Oh, I’m so behind. Tues are busy days for me. What the heck is going on with so much child sex abuse? It feels more than rampant lately. I feel so scared and heartsick for the young victims. A very, very close family member was sexually abused by her grandfather until he died when she was 10. It was her answer to her prayer. To this day she suffers from terrible, debilitating anxiety. Anyway, I’ve read 1 in 10, 1 in 9, 1 in 6, 1 in 5, 1 in 3 girls are sexually abused... it’s like the stats are all over the place!! It’s so distressing.
